Touring & cargo e-bikes · Dealer programme now open

Built for the long way round.

MotiveTrail E-Bikes makes long-range touring and cargo electric bikes — machines for week-long tours, school runs with two children aboard, and the market trip that used to need a car. We are looking for shops to carry them.

Chapter one

Two kinds of journey, one way of building.

Some trips are measured in days: a coastline, a pass, a string of small towns with a bed at the end of each. Others are measured in errands: the nursery, the grocer, the allotment and back. We think both deserve a bike that is calm under load, honest about its range and easy to look after.

Our touring line is for riders who pack the night before and leave before breakfast. Our cargo line is for households who would rather pedal than park. They share the same habits — sensible geometry, generous carrying points, batteries sized for real distances rather than brochure numbers — and the same belief that a good e-bike should feel like a bicycle first.

Long-range touring

Upright, stable and unhurried. Designed around a full set of panniers, with range planned for the hilly day rather than the flat one.

Everyday cargo

Long-tail frames with a low centre of gravity, so a heavy load steers like a light one and parks without drama.

Chapter two · For dealers

Why a good shop might want our bikes on the floor.

01

Bikes that come back for service, not for refunds

Our frames use standard bearings, common brake mounts and a cable-routing layout your mechanics already know. A touring bike that can be fixed in any decent workshop is one your customers trust — and one that keeps visiting your bench.

02

A category with patient, well-informed buyers

People shopping for a loaded tourer or a family cargo bike tend to research for weeks, ask good questions and buy once. That suits shops who like to talk, fit and test-ride properly rather than race to the lowest price.

03

Support from people who ride the same roads

Dealers deal directly with a small team, not a ticket queue. Technical questions, warranty claims and demo-fleet requests all land in the same inbox and get answered by someone who has fixed the part in question.

From our riding notes

“Range isn’t a number on a box. It’s whether you reach the next village before the light goes.”

Chapter three

The route to becoming a stockist.

No forms longer than a postcard and no pressure to order before you have ridden the bikes.
