Returns Policy

What to do if a bike or accessory isn't right for you, and how refunds and warranty claims work.

Last updated: DD Month YYYY[placeholder]

1. Change of mind

If you bought directly from us, you may return an unused item within XX days[placeholder] of delivery. Bikes must have been ridden no further than XX km[placeholder], and be returned clean, undamaged and in their original packaging.

2. Purchases made through a dealer

If you bought from one of our dealers, please contact them first. Dealers set their own returns terms in line with your statutory rights, and we support them in resolving any issue.

3. How to start a return

Email sales@motivetrailbike.com with your order number and the reason for return. We'll confirm whether the item is eligible and arrange collection or send return instructions.

4. Return shipping costs

Change-of-mind returns of complete bikes carry a collection charge of £XX[placeholder]. Returns of faulty or incorrectly supplied items are collected free of charge.

5. Refunds

Once the item is received and inspected, refunds are issued to the original payment method within XX days[placeholder]. A reduction may apply if the item shows wear beyond what is needed to inspect it.

6. Faults and warranty

Frames are covered for X years[placeholder] and electrical components for X years[placeholder] against manufacturing defects. Warranty claims are handled through your dealer or directly by us, and do not affect your statutory rights.

7. Items that cannot be returned

  • Custom-built or personalised bikes and parts.
  • Consumables that have been fitted or used, such as tyres, brake pads and chains.
  • Batteries that have been opened, damaged or modified.
